Matthew Richards joined Datto in 2016 and currently runs Marketing for the rapidly growing MSP centric company. Matthew is passionate about emerging technology marketing and emerging business, and oversees global demand gen, brand positioning, partner marketing, product messaging and competitive intelligence for Datto. Prior to Datto he held various roles in product management and marketing for a number of technology companies, from IBM and Novell, to Computer Associates and an open source file sync and share startup ownCloud. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family in Sudbury, MA, and has been known to travel almost anywhere to be at the helm of a sailboat. Matthew has an MBA from MIT and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College.
